Day 1: Arrival in Kigali
Welcome to Rwanda! Arrive at Kigali International Airport and transfer to your hotel. Rest up and prepare for the exciting adventure ahead.
Day 2: Kigali City Tour
Explore Kigali with a guided city tour. Visit the poignant Kigali Genocide Memorial to learn about Rwanda’s history. Experience the bustling local markets and enjoy a traditional Rwandan lunch.
Day 3: Nyamirambo Women’s Center
Spend the day at the Nyamirambo Women’s Center. Engage in a guided walking tour of the Nyamirambo neighborhood, visit community projects, and enjoy a traditional cooking class.
Day 4: Transfer to Akagera National Park
Travel to Akagera National Park, Rwanda’s premier savannah park. Enjoy an afternoon game drive and spot elephants, buffaloes, zebras, and various antelopes. Evening at a lodge within the park.
Day 5: Full-Day Safari in Akagera

Day 6: Transfer to Volcanoes National Park
Journey to Volcanoes National Park, home of the mountain gorillas. En route, enjoy the scenic views of Rwanda’s rolling hills and lush landscapes. Evening at a lodge near the park.
Day 7: Gorilla Trekking
Embark on a thrilling gorilla trekking experience. Trek through dense forest to encounter the majestic mountain gorillas up close. This intimate encounter is sure to be a highlight of your safari.
Day 8: Golden Monkey Tracking
Spend the morning tracking golden monkeys in Volcanoes National Park. These lively primates are a joy to watch as they leap through the bamboo forests. Afternoon at leisure or visit the Iby’Iwacu Cultural Village.
Day 9: Transfer to Nyungwe Forest National Park

Day 10: Chimpanzee Trekking in Nyungwe
