Day 1 : Kigali City Tour & Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Pick-up: You will be picked from a Hotel/Lodge in Kigali at 8:00 am by an Offmap Adventures guide for a Kigali City Tour. Visit the Kigali Genocide Memorial and other significant landmarks, learning about Rwanda's history and culture.
Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, enjoy the picturesque landscapes along the way. If time allows, visit a local community to discover more about the local people's culture.
Accommodation: Dinner and overnight stay at Bwindi Jungle Lodge.
Day 2 : Gorilla Tracking and Community Visit
Early Start: After breakfast, head to the park headquarters with a packed lunch. Receive a briefing about the dos and don’ts while with the gorillas.
Embark on the trek to find the gorillas, experiencing the sights and sounds of the forest and its birdlife.
Afternoon: Community Visit. After the remarkable adventure with the gorillas, return and visit a local community to learn more about their culture.
Evening: Relaxation
Accommodation: Meals and overnight at Bwindi Jungle Lodge.
Day 3 : Muhabura Hike and Transfer to Gisenyi
Early Start: After breakfast, drive to the foothills of Mount Muhabura for a briefing at 7:00 am. Hike up Mount Muhabura, enjoying the natural scenery and sights of the Virunga Massif and the Crater Lake near the summit. Descend and Transfer to Gisenyi. Descend the volcano and transfer to Gisenyi, arriving in the evening.
Drop-off: Arrive for a drop-off at your hotel or residence in Gisenyi.
